DWEL ("the App") is published by Pixxaid Inc. ("we," "our," "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
Summary: We collect your location to power gameplay, your account info to identify you, and your game data to run the game. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not serve ads.
Location Data. DWEL requires access to your device's precise location to provide core gameplay features including claiming territory, dwelling at cells, attacking nearby targets, and viewing your surroundings in augmented reality. Location data is used in real time for gameplay and is not stored as a continuous movement history. Your approximate position is represented as a geohash and hex-grid coordinates in our database for game state purposes.
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect the information provided by your authentication method: your email address (for email sign-up), your Apple ID identifier (for Sign in with Apple), or your Google account identifier (for Google Sign-In). We also store the display name you choose.
Game Data. We store your in-game activity including cells owned, units, buildings, battle history, faction membership, experience points, level, and dwell history. This data is necessary to operate the game.
Device Information. We may collect basic device information such as device type and operating system version for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.
DWEL is a multiplayer game. The following information is visible to other players: your display name, your faction, your owned cells and their names, the number and type of units on your cells, buildings on your cells, your position on the leaderboard, and your dwell history on cells. Your email address, precise GPS coordinates, and account identifiers are never shared with other players.

We do not use advertising SDKs or analytics services that track you across other apps.
Your game data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We use industry-standard security measures provided by Firebase and Google Cloud Platform to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS) and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
DWEL is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by other means. Your continued use of DWEL after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
